MY PROJECTS

This project is a single-level exploration experience with a few puzzles along the way. It was made using Unreal Engine 5.3 utilizing both Blueprints and C++. I designed the level from scratch using assets from the Unreal Marketplace.

Codename: Dark Knight is an open world action RPG that was discontinued while still in the development process. It was being made using Unreal Engine 5.2. I took on the role of Gameplay/Combat Designer.

For this project, I worked with a team of other students to make a side scrolling platformer game. We iterated on this project multiple times and progressed from prototyping to final build. I introduced various mechanics and contributed to level design throughout the project. We utilized Unreal Engine 4, Perforce, and Jira/Confluence.

For this project I worked with a group of students to make a game using the SCRAPS assets provided to us by instructors. I was responsible for the design and construction of one level. I used Unity, Perforce, and Trello in the time I worked on this project.

For this project I was given a set of assets and blueprints in Unreal Engine 5.1 and a creative vision for a game. From this I was required to design a level that introduced a new mechanic using the IPM pacing model. I was only allowed to use SuperGrid geometry and materials. I created a functioning level mechanic, the basic geometry of a level from start to end, and props to populate the empty space within my level.

I was tasked with creating an analog game that required the use of pieces and a board. Throughout the course I tested my game, got feedback, and used that to revise the rules and balance of the game.
